At Interiors By Design we can take that piece of furniture, whether it be a family treasure, junk store find or an out-of-place object you're unsure about and transform it into a beautiful addition to any home, office or commercial space.
The vintage sectional featured below was discovered with its original fabrication seen here at a second-hand store. The hardwood frame was in excellent condition, although the padding and the overall look was tired and extremely dated. This look, however, has enjoyed a strong comeback with new furniture designers. So with a little retooling of this piece and reupholstering with a beautiful new fabric that fits its vintage look, transform and updates, the once tired sectional is a perfect fit in the den where it is now located.
Tables, consoles, bookcases, chest-of-drawers, at some point all wood needs to be revitalized. Whether contemporary or antique, keeping these furnishings properly characterized within the period style they were meant to represent is important. You would not want to stain something black that was meant to have a blonde finish on it, or vice versa. Likewise, keeping a bookshelf such as the two twins pictured here and refinishing them is a better investment of your dollar than purchasing them new and wind up paying five times the amount of money. Interiors By Design can help you with most any refinishing project.
